2. What are the benefits of living in a city? What are the costs or dangers associated with living in a city? How have these changed over time? In your opinion, is it more beneficial to live in a city, s suburb, or a rural area?

There are many benefits of living in the city as there are in living in the suburbs and rural areas. They have different benefits and different costs and dangers. In my opinon it is more beneficial to live in the suburbs. Eventhough it in volves more costs its safer and not isolated.

In the city there can be many dangers. Cities have a higher population therefore there is much more conflict between people and sometimes races. The city is always very busy and "never sleeps." However there are some benefits that come from living in the city. Depending on the city the costs may be less. Not much money has to be spent on transportation. Most people walk and get exercise. And if your a shopaholic there are usually stores everywhere nearby that are easy to get to.

To me rural areas are boring. I would not like to live in a rural area. It seems like everyone lives like a million miles away from each other and that would be no fun. I would probably get lonely. Living in rural areas is usually safe because there is not a great amount of population living there. The houses are spread apart and not as many people can live in one place like in a city. There is usually one family per house.People that live there probably have to drive far to get to places such as stores and hospitals.

Personally i enjoy living in the suburbs area. Its kind of in the middle of cities and rural areas. Sometimes its possible to walk places and other times there is a need for transportation. The good thing about living in the suburbs is that its fairily safe and calm. The population is kind of in the middle. There is not an overwhelming amount of people but theres also not only a few people. Sometimes living in the suburbs costs more but its worth it. Everyone isnt squished and getting on their nerves and they are also not isolated from each other. In the suyburbs theres usually always hospitals nearby and places to go unlike in rural areas.

The suburbs to me are more beneficial to live in. There are usually schools everywhere and peoples jobs are usually at a close driving distance. Not as much gas has to be wasted. There is less violence and less tension between people. Everyone that lives there knows where everything is and how to get there. Its a better enviroment and can provide good social skills.

  1. I agree with everything you said! I would not be able to live in rural areas because things are so far apart. Your right to me the suburbs are much better to live in. Your essay was really good. Goood job (:

  2. Just as before i also like your blog. I do agree that the rural areas seem to be boring considering that the people lived far from eachother. I also agree on the life in the suburbs being easier to get a job and things in general being a lot more calmer. Can't wait to read more of your blogs.

  3. Nice job. I agree because things would certainly be a lot more difficult if we all lived in rural areas. After all, not all of us could have great big farms. The suburbs have a lot more to offer, and i think living there would be soooo much better.
